MLD requires only the weight of a quarter for pressure, reducing strain for the therapist, while delivering results for the client. Growing a manual lymphatic drainage practice is a great strategy to lengthen a career without the physical demands of massage.

This is a 40-hour hybrid certification program designed to build real skill in lymphatic drainage within a wellness setting. You'll learn a structured approach to treatment, develop clinical reasoning and charting habits, and apply the work in a way that fits real client sessions.
Learn lymphatic drainage skills while also learning to think through the work, understand what the techniques are actually doing, and adjust to real-life client demands.
You'll learn the anatomy that explains why the work does what it does, classical methods proven to increase lymphatic flow up to 20 times its usual rate, and how to shift your application to fit the client in front of you.
As your understanding deepens, your confidence changes. That shows up at the table. You start working with more clarity, communicating more clearly with clients, and delivering work that people come back for and talk about.

Post-operative MLD applied within 48–72 hours of surgery has been shown to accelerate the transition from the inflammatory phase to the remodeling phase of healing, reducing visible recovery time by 50–70% in the first two weeks.
Lymphatic drainage is not a one-session service. Post-operative protocols require 2–3 sessions per week for the first two to three weeks, which means clients book in series, not one at a time. Therapists who offer this work routinely move from single bookings to 6-session packages, securing $500–$650 upfront per client. Selling the package isn't a sales tactic. It's what the clinical protocol requires.
Some therapists take this training to add a new service.
Others use it to build a more sustainable practice with repeat bookings, specialized work, and less physical strain on the body.
For graduates and health professionals who want practice growth and support, our GrowPro program is a practice growth membership and coaching program with practice-building resources, booking and automation support, and marketing strategy.
